We’ve won a contract with a major defence company this autumn.
The leaves have barely turned orange but we’ve already been busy spreading Christmas joy. We’ve designed and produced nearly three quarters of a million tickets for VFM’s autumn and winter shopping fairs. With an emphasis on individuality, the gift, fashion and Christmas fairs showcase the best not-on-the-high-street buys.
We have just completed a special project for client Wales & West Utilities – creating and installing a visitor experience wallpaper infographic for their flagship hydrogen demonstrator home in Abertillery, Blaenau Gwent. The graphic had to be made to measure to fit the wall dimensions, and features both Welsh and English words.
Bold, bright and A4 – we’ve redesigned the employee magazine for Heidelberg Materials UK. The key communications channel has a fresh look following the company’s rebrand from Hanson UK to the new identity of its global parent group. We’re now working on the second issue of the revamped team – previously a ‘narrow’ A5 format – for the business, a leading supplier of low carbon heavy building materials.
We’re again making a charitable donation instead of sending gifts and cards this Christmas. With no let-up in the cost-of-living crisis, we’re supporting our local foodbank in Cheltenham. They’re part of a nationwide network, supported by The Trussell Trust, working to combat poverty and hunger. You can read about their vital work here.
We’ve helped Wales & West Utilities honour outstanding employees with a new display wall. The editable installation we designed showcases the Celebrating Excellence award-winners front and centre. Along with standout text and branded wallpaper, it includes a screen showing images and videos from the awards’ night. The work, which we conceptualised, project-managed, artworked and installed also involved two photo ‘hero’ walls featuring colleagues from across the business.
Smart new fleet livery that we’ve created for Wales & West Utilities is hitting the road. The people-focused design – the latest evolution in the company’s brand development – will be applied to more than 1,600 vehicles over the next few years. Our team developed the concept, produced the artwork and liaised with specialist Mediafleet, who are delivering the roll-out. See the decals fly in a time-lapse of a Transit van getting the new look here.
We’ve just passed the latest reassessment for our Cyber Essentials status with flying colours. Being certified through the government-backed scheme shows our commitment to cyber security and helps us guard against the most common cyber threats. The evaluation includes looking at firewall protection, defence against malware, security update management and user access controls. As well as being key for our own security, it’s also required for bidding on certain types of government contract.
More than four years and 282 pages in the making, the latest edition of The Guide to the Handling of People – known as HOP7 – has come off the presses for our customer BackCare. The manual handling ‘bible’ for care professionals has been a huge project for many of our team. As well as management, design, proofing and production, it’s included co-ordinating submissions from 19 contributors and commissioning hundreds of hand-drawn illustrations.
A smart new reception greets visitors to Wales and West Utilities after a floor to ceiling revamp we designed and project managed. The centrepiece is a bespoke desk featuring the signature shape at the heart of their brand, which forms the reason behind the refurb. The reception is the first stage of a wider project we’re leading that’s bringing a slick new look and feel across the Newport HQ.
