At work or at play, it's always busy at Pages Creative

Footie fundraising

We had a ball in our latest project with ITV, when they were looking for a way to encourage colleagues to take part in their internal fundraising week for Soccer Aid. We came up with a 3D football and supporting card to get the ball rolling. Find out how we tackled the project here

Hive five…

We’re pleased to be in the running for an Institute of Internal Communication award. The Hive, which we produce for Hoist Finance, has been shortlisted for an award in the “best new or relaunched publication (print)” class. The winner will be announced on 28 September at the awards dinner in London.

Great experience

We love welcoming work experience students to see what goes on behind the scenes at our office. Annie, who joined us for a week, developed her own website to showcase her art and design work. Our team were happy to help from concept and marketing content, to logo and web design. “I’m immensely grateful to have been given the opportunity to work with such a wonderful group!” says Annie.

At the double

May was a busy month for us as we helped Wales & West Utilities produce two key reports, the Discretionary Reward Scheme (DRS) and Stakeholder Engagement Incentive Submission (SEIS), to a very tight deadline. Both were successfully published, digitally and in print.

Delicious delivery

Being Boston Tea Party Cheltenham’s Business of the Week went down a treat this month when they delivered delicious cakes and pastries to our offices. Colleagues enjoyed a slice of the action as part of the café’s efforts to build relationships with local businesses.

Plastic action

Inspired by David Attenborough’s call for action on plastics in Blue Planet 2, two of our clients have just made the switch from plastic wrappers to more environmentally friendly envelopes.

For delivery of Hanson’s employee magazine team, this will reduce plastic waste by around 14,000 bags a year.

Winning tender

We are delighted to be continuing our work with Wales & West Utilities on two crucial reports after winning a competitive tender.

The annual Stakeholder Report and the DRS (Discretionary Reward Scheme) Report, which is published every three years, will see Pages Creative providing strategic advice to Wales & West Utilities plus writing and designing both reports.

Did someone say pancakes?

We work with many large organisations, but we also enjoy working with local start-up businesses. We designed a logo and helped create a catchline for Cotswolds-based Clog & Pancake, who cook up delicious mini pancakes for events around the country. The logo incorporates the duo’s Dutch influences, and is now proudly displayed on their refurbished 1980s Rice horse trailer.

E-newsletter launch

We have launched a new HTML e-newsletter, The Core, for Physio First, the trade association for physiotherapists. Find out all about it by reading our case study.

Our offices scrub up well…

We’ve had a major rebrand at Pages Creative, which means we’ve been updating everything from letters to walls with our new logo. It’s been a great excuse to give our offices a much-needed refresh.
